Halloween Craft. To make the spiderweb tablecloth for the halloween craft, you need to get an offwhite fabric that does not glow under a black light. Start with at least 10 inches wider than the table’s diameter in a square piece. Choose a small round table for the best result.
Halloween Craft instructions:
- Forming a rectangle by folding a square in half. Then press with an iron by medium heat.
- Forming a small square by folding in half, then press again with an iron.
- Arrange the position so the center of the original square is being at the top left.
- Forming a triangle by folding the bottom left corner to the top right corner, then press with the medium heat iron.
- Forming a narrower triangle by folding the top right corner down to the triangle’s longest side, then press again.
- Placing the top point of the triangle at the center of your table, and let the rest of it hang over the edge of the table.
- A few inches below that overhang, use a scissors to cut an inward arc throuh all fabric layers.
- Unfolding the fabric then lay atop a paper covered surface that will help absorbing the marker that will bleed slightly.
- Trace folds extending from the center to the tips of the scalloped edges by using a black light reactive invisible marker and a quilting rules.
- Outline edge of the tablecloth with the marker.
- Between folds, draw bold lines that parallel to the edge.
- Let it dry in 20 minutes.
